The black glass walls of the reception area act as a frame for a tank of Connemara-bred seahorses. The double-height Grand Salon boasts floor to ceiling windows offering views across Lough Atalia, while the Blue Lounge features deep blue walls framed by golden doorways, with original artworks, gilded mirrors and Art Deco light fittings. The Pink Lounge, styled as the hotel’s signature room, features Andy Warhol camouflage-print chairs and a hand-woven, black and white vortex-patterned carpet.
* The G Restaurant is distinctive, colourful restaurant with banquettes clad in purple velvet and jewel-colored Andrew Martin chairs. The G Restaurant offers contemporary cuisine with some international favorites added to cater for many international travellers visiting Galway, with seating for 70. The Cocktail Bar serves bespoke cocktails and more familiar favourites in a glitzy setting featuring a carpet of thousands of Red Swarovski crystals. The Place Bar is ultra-contemporary bar defined by black and white geometric minimalism complemented by a marble floor inlaid with red crystals and mirrored walls.
* Developed by renowned spa designers ESPA, the hotel’s spa is located on the upper two floors and includes a ‘secret’ bamboo garden on the roof.
