Aldea del Mar was designed by renowned Mallorcan architect Pedro Alzoup in the late 1990s all the buildings have many original and traditional features. Situated in a tranquil location Aldea del Mar is just a five minute walk to playa de los locos beach.
Aldea del Mar is divided into several sections where buildings are grouped around large courtyards with attractive and very well-maintained gardens. The largest garden area contains a very large outdoor swimming pool which is open from April until October (exact dates vary annually depending on factors such as weather). The pool is surrounded by lush grass, palm trees and shrubs and there are sun beds, showers, toilets and a poolside bar & restaurant.
Situated on the ground floor 30 metres in from the main gate on the quiet street Calle Gabriela Mistral, Aldea del Mar is tastefully decorated throughout and is comfortably furnished. Aldea del Mar is self contained to make you feel completely at home. |

Aldea del Mar is located in the residential district of Torrevieja, a town which, over the years, has retained the traditional Spanish charm of a little fishing port surrounded by white sandy beaches. Aldea del Mar is just a 5 minute walk to playa de los locos beach. A variety of restaurants, shops, bars and a bank are within 5 minutes walk.
The region offers as well a great range of leisure activies: water sports, golf, tennis, the park of attractions of “Santa Pola”, the dunes beaches of Guardamar, museum “el Museo de la Sal”. The renowned theme park “Terra Mítica”, a fascinating journey through Greek, Roman, Iberian and Egyptian civilizacions situated in Benidorm approx. 70 km is fun day out for the whole family.
The Torrevieja town centre is a leisurely 25 minute walk or a 5 minute drive away. The frequent A1 bus service takes 10 minutes. The centre has many attractions, including a Marina, fun fair, harbour, and a lovely promenade with side walk cafes where you can sit and watch the world go by.
Many other amenities like super-markets, restaurants and bars are within walking distance of the apartment. Ten minutes away by car is the 'Ozone' leisure centre, which has a bowling alley with 20 lanes, casino, amusement arcades, multi-screen cinema, restaurants, bars, and a shopping centre. |

* Aldea del Mar offers two-bedroom apartments with sofa bed in the lounge/dining room (maximum occupancy 6 people). The living area incorporates old wooden beams, marble floors and Moorish style tile skirting, and opens onto a large balcony overlooking attractive, well-maintained courtyard gardens.
* In the lounge area you will find a 21" colour TV complete with satellite reception. A DVD player is provided along with a small HiFi for your entertainment. There are two comfortable high-backed sofas and a coffee table. The dining area is just beyond the lounge.
* The American style kitchen is equipped with a good range of appliances to satisfy your self-catering requirements, and decorated with attractive Moorish style tiles. Available equipment includes: a fridge/freezer, a microwave, electric oven complete with hob, electric kettle, coffee maker, orange juicer, toaster, ironing board & steam iron, and an automatic washing machine.
* There is sufficient crockery, cutlery, coffee mugs, glasses and cooking utensils to meet all your family's catering needs. A range of storage cupboards and a breakfast bar are also available for your convenience.
* There are two good sized bedrooms. In the master is a double bed, built-in bedside tables complete with bedside lamps, a large fitted double wardrobe and a chest of drawers. All bed linen and towels are provided, together with bedspreads and curtains. External shutter blinds are also installed.
* In the second bedroom, there are two single beds with a built-in bedside table and lamp. A good sized wardrobe with storage space above for suitcases etc. and a chest of drawers.
* The fully tiled bathroom which is roomy and attractive with a modern suite (no bath) and shower cubicle completes the accommodation. |
